Dr Lucy Randall

MBChB BSc FRACGP

Dr Lucy Randall moved from the UK to Australia in 2013 to work in General Practice in north Brisbane and is now a Director of The Hub Medical Centre where she provides whole person care with interests in eating disorders and care of older people and those with complex needs.

She’s enjoyed being able to shape the practice into one delivering high quality, collaborative care to the local population. Lucy is also a Director of a growing home care service and is training to be a facilitator with the Black Dog Institute.

What do you do to relax?
I enjoy spending with my children and their ponies on our property.

What is your favourite book that you are reading at the moment?

At the moment I’m reading “Any Ordinary Day” by Leigh Sales.

Why have you decided to join the ASPM Board?
I became interested in ASPM when I discovered how dedicated the organisation is to promotion of and education for doctors providing mental health care as part of whole person care. That interest developed as I met the people behind the organisation and realised that they’re people I’d feel privileged to work with in this space.
